Global IT Services Enterprise - SQL Star International Limited – today announced a huge surge in its revenue growth for the second quarter ended September 2007 at its Board Meeting held at Hyderabad.
Financial Highlights
SQL Star International Ltd. – Worldwide Operations
For the quarter ended September 30, 2007 SQL Star International Ltd., on a Worldwide Consolidated Basis reported Profit After Tax (PAT) at Rs 2.56 Crores as against Rs. 1.13 Crores for the same quarter of the previous year. This represents a growth of 127%. The Company witnessed an impressive growth of 61% in its revenues. For the Quarter ended September 30, 2007, the revenues stood at Rs. 26.26 Crores as against Rs 16.33 Crores for the same quarter of previous year.
For the half year ending September 30, 2007, SQL Star International Ltd., on a Worldwide Consolidated Basis reported Profit After Tax (PAT) at Rs. 4.15 Crores as against Rs. 0.76 Crores for the same period in the previous year. This represents a growth of 447%. Revenues stood at 50.74 Crores as against Rs. 33.66 Crores for the corresponding period in the previous year. This represents a growth of 51%.
SQL Star International Ltd. – Indian Operations
For the quarter ended September 30, 2007 for SQL Star International Ltd., (Standalone, India) the PAT stood at Rs. 86.82 Lakhs as against Rs 63.08 Lakhs for the same quarter of the previous year. Revenues stood at Rs 11.22 Crores as against Rs. 10.09 Crore for the same quarter of previous year. This marks a growth of 11%.
For the half year ended September 30, 2007 for SQL Star International Ltd., (Standalone, India) the PAT stood at Rs. 1.75 Crores as against Rs 0.42 Lakhs for the same quarter of the previous year. Revenues stood at Rs 23.53 Crores as against Rs. 21.56 Crore for the same period of the previous year. This marks a growth of 9%.
Speaking at the board meeting, Mr NR Ganti, Chairman and Managing Director said, “Having successfully proven operational efficiencies, we took the success of the first quarter of this year a step forward and increased focus on key domains. The acquisition of TalentFuse, a US-based company has further resulted in strengthening the bottom line.”
Continuing its stellar performance of the previous quarter, this time too, the company has been successful in maintaining its upward swing. The company attributes its increase in revenues to its healthy performance in its stronghold areas – Knowledge Services, Enterprise Services and e-Governance.
